Sorry, you're breaking up. Could you say that again? I can't hear you, speak louder

Can I jump in here?、Real quick, before you go on

Sorry, can I jump in?
Hey, this is Wei.
Sorry, you're breaking up.

Can you hear me now?,说完可以自己再静音。

Sorry about that, my wifi dropped. → Where were we?
Sorry, I froze for a second. → What did I miss?
We lost you for a second there. → You dropped right after the pricing slide.

You dropped right after the pricing slide. Short version: we agreed on option two. Let me try calling you back. 和 Let's move to the phone.

(Quick heads-up, I've got a hard stop at 10:30.),再现场收尾(We're at time. Let me stop there.),没讲完的带走(Let's take the rest offline. / I'll set up a follow-up for Thursday.),最后把行动项念一遍(Let me recap the action items. / Who's taking that one?)。 Hey, we're at time. Want to pick this up Thursday?

Brian(供应商方项目经理,人在东海岸) 你(客户方工程师,在家办公)

Brian: Hey Wei, it’s Brian. Can you hear me okay?

Hey Brian. Yeah, I’ve got you. A little echo on my end, but it’s fine.

Brian: Okay. Sorry, I’ve got you on speaker, so if it sounds weird, that’s why.

No worries. So, the revised SOW. I read it. Mostly good, two things I want to talk through.

Brian: Go ahead.

First one’s the timeline. You’ve got integration done by the fifteenth, and I don’t think that’s realistic.

Brian: Hmm. I’d push back on that a little. We’ve been frozen on the API side since July, so nothing’s moving under you.

Has it? Okay, that’s different. Sorry, someone’s at my door for a second.

Brian: Sure, take your time.

Okay, sorry about that. Where were we?

Brian: The timeline. You were saying the fifteenth was tight.

Right. If the API’s frozen, then the fifteenth is probably fine. I’ll take that one back.

Brian: Great. What’s the second thing?

Support hours. We need coverage until 7pm Eastern, at least for the first month after go-live.

Brian: Sorry, you cut out for a second there. Until when?

7pm Eastern. Our team’s on the West Coast, so that’s four o’clock for us.

Brian: Got it. Let me check what that does to the rate and get back to you by Thursday.

That works. Oh, hold on, I’ve got another call coming in. Let me put you on hold for a second.

Brian: Yeah, no problem.

Okay, I’m back. Sorry about that.

Brian: You’re fine. One more thing on my end, the training. Are we doing two sessions or one?

Two. One for admins, one for support.

Brian: Perfect. Anything else on your end?

That’s it. And I’ve got a hard stop at three, so if we need more time, let’s do Thursday.

Brian: Thursday works. I’ll send an invite and the updated SOW tonight.

Sounds good. Thanks, Brian.

谢谢 Brian。

Brian: Thanks. Talk soon.

Can you hear me okay?
I’ve got you on speaker.
Sorry, you cut out for a second there. Did you hear me?
Let me put you on hold for a second.
Sorry about that. Where were we?
I’ll take that one back.
I’d push back on that a little.
Take your time.
I’ll get back to you by Thursday.
Anything else on your end?

Sorry, someone's at my door. →(回来后)Okay, sorry about that. Where were we?

2. I'd push back on that a little.

3. hold

Let me put you on hold. Can you hold for a second?

7pm Eastern、three o'clock my time、four for us——跨州电话里不带时区的钟点等于没说。

Dana(会议主持,产品负责人) 你(后端工程师,对方案有不同意见) Marcus(资深工程师,主张重写) Priya(另一位工程师,和你看法接近)

Dana: Okay, six people on. Let’s get going. Marcus, can you bring everyone up to speed on where we landed on the auth service?

Marcus: Yeah, so — the short version is we’ve committed to splitting it into two services. Token handling stays in-house, everything else moves into a shared library.

Priya: Wait, sorry, when did we decide that? Because I thought that was still open.

Sorry, can I jump in here?

Priya: Oh, sorry, go ahead.

Real quick, before you go on — I see your point, but I’d push back on the assumption that we need to rewrite it. The numbers you showed us last week were from a spike, not production.

Marcus: Sorry, go ahead. You were saying?

I was just gonna say the spike was a hundred requests a second. Production’s nowhere near that yet.

Marcus: Hmm. That’s fair. I might be missing something, but doesn’t that assume the schema’s stable in the meantime?

It does, yeah. That’s exactly the part I’m worried about.

Priya: Okay, that’s worth unpacking. Let me come back to that in a second, because I want to hear the rest first.

Sure, no rush.

Marcus: Thanks. So the other thing is timing. If we don’t start now, we’re doing it during the freeze.

Priya: Do we know when the freeze actually starts?

Marcus: Not officially. Sometime in November, probably.

Priya: Okay. So the schema question is really a question about the freeze.

Right. And I’d want to see the numbers again before we commit to a rewrite.

Priya: Agreed. Can we take that offline? I don’t want to burn the whole hour on it.

Works for me. I can send you the query I ran, so you don’t have to rebuild it.

Marcus: +1 in the chat. And sorry for cutting you off earlier.

You didn’t. I was the one jumping in.

Priya: Okay, last thing from me — does anyone know whether the same service handles internal and external traffic?

Marcus: I think it does, but honestly I’m not sure.

Let me come back to that in a second — that might change what we do with the split.

Priya: Let’s do it after the migration piece. We need a decision by Thursday either way.

Marcus: Agreed. And I’ll take the action item on the numbers.

Perfect. That’s the one I was gonna ask for.

Priya: Then we’re good. Thanks, everyone.

Sorry, can I jump in here?
Real quick, before you go on.
Can I add something to that?
Sorry, go ahead.
No, no, go ahead. You were saying?
I see your point, but I’d push back on the assumption that we need to rewrite it.
I might be missing something, but doesn’t that assume the schema’s stable?
It does, yeah. That’s the part I’m worried about.
Let me come back to that in a second.
Can we take that offline?
Works for me. I can send you the query I ran, so you don’t have to rebuild it.
You didn’t. I was the one jumping in.
+1 in the chat.

I have a different opinion. I see your point, but I'd push back a little.
Can I speak? Can I jump in here?
Sorry I interrupt you. Sorry to cut in. / Sorry, one quick thing.
You are wrong. I might be missing something, but doesn't that assume…?
I agree with you, but I have a question. Quick question on that.
Please let me finish. Sorry, let me finish that thought real quick.
You go first please. No, no, go ahead.
We can discuss after meeting. Can we take that offline?

Can I jump in here?、Real quick, before you go on 都是加分项。 Sorry, go ahead — you were saying?

双方都会先道歉(Sorry, go ahead.),然后一个人说 No, no, go ahead.,另一个人接 You were saying?。

I see your point, but I'd push back on the assumption that… I might be missing something, but doesn't that assume…?

4. Let me come back to that 和 Can we take that offline?

Rachel(项目经理,在另一个城市) 你(远程参会,负责讲改版方案)

Rachel: Okay, I think we’re all here. Can everyone hear me okay?

Hey, this is Wei. Sorry, I’m a couple minutes late. What did I miss?

Rachel: No worries, we just started. Wei, do you want to walk us through the checkout flow?

Sure. Let me share my screen. Can everyone see that?

Rachel: Not yet. I’m still on the agenda slide.

Hmm. Let me try again. How about now?

Rachel: There it is. Okay, that’s the new flow. Looks good.

Great. So this is the screen after checkout—

Rachel: Sorry, you’re sharing the wrong window. That’s your email.

Oh, my bad. Hang on. Okay, now?

Rachel: Yep, got it.

So the cart summary’s top left, and the whole thing loads in under a second now, down from about three.

Rachel: That’s a big improvement. Sorry, you’re breaking up a little. Can you say that again? The audio cut out.

Yeah, no problem. Under a second now, down from three.

Rachel: Got it.

Let me stop sharing for a sec, because I want to show you the numbers instead.

Rachel: Sure.

你: Okay, sharing again. Can everyone see the chart?

Rachel: Yeah. Oh, hang on. We lost you for a second there. Your screen froze.

Sorry, I froze for a second. My wifi’s been flaky all morning. What did I miss?

Rachel: Nothing, we were just waiting on you. Go ahead.

Okay, so. The chart on the left is before and after.

Rachel: Nice. And the drop-off rate—

Sorry, go ahead.

Rachel: No, no, go ahead. You were saying?

I was just gonna say the drop-off rate went down too. Though that’s a small sample, so I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Rachel: Fair enough. Oh, quick heads-up, I’ve got a hard stop at 10:30.

Same here. Let’s keep moving. I’ll drop the notes in the channel after.

Rachel: Perfect. And Priya says +1 in the chat.

Can everyone hear me okay?
Hey, this is Wei. Sorry, I’m a couple minutes late.
What did I miss?
Let me share my screen. Can everyone see that?
You’re sharing the wrong window.
Oh, my bad. Hang on.
Sorry, you’re breaking up a little. I can’t hear you 准确
Sorry, I froze for a second.
We lost you for a second there.
Let me stop sharing for a sec.
I’ll drop the notes in the channel after.
+1 in the chat.

Oh, my bad. Hang on.

Can everyone see that? I'm still on the agenda slide.——用"我这边还停在哪儿"描述状态,比 No 有用得多,你立刻知道该往下翻还是重开。

和 You're breaking up.

Rachel(会议主持,人在办公室) 你(主讲人,在家连着 wifi) Daniel(同事,在会议室里一起听)

Rachel: Wei? I think we lost you.

Sorry about that, my wifi dropped. Can you hear me now?

Rachel: Yep, you’re back. We lost you for a second there.

Ugh, sorry. What did I miss?

Rachel: Nothing, we were just waiting on you.

Daniel: Yeah, we got about halfway through the third slide and then you froze.

Okay. So where were we — the pricing table?

Daniel: You dropped right after the pricing slide. Short version: we agreed on option two. Rachel had one question about the enterprise tier.

Got it, thanks. Let me scroll to that part.

Rachel: Actually, before you do — your connection’s been in and out all morning.

Yeah, it has. Sorry — that’s twice I’ve frozen already. Can you catch me up if it happens again?

Rachel: For sure. If it drops again, let me try calling you back.

Sounds good. Or let’s move to the phone — I can dial in and drop the video.

Daniel: Either works. Honestly the audio’s been fine.

Okay, where were we. The enterprise tier.

Rachel: Right. Do we roll it out to everyone at once, or ten accounts first?

Daniel: Ten first. We said we’d review it after two weeks.

Okay, that works. Let me finish this slide, and then we can move on.

Rachel: Actually, let’s keep going, Wei. I’ll catch you up on the notes after if you drop again.

Deal. Page four.

I think we lost you.
Sorry about that, my wifi dropped.
Can you hear me now?
We lost you for a second there.
What did I miss? What did you say?
Nothing, we were just waiting on you.
You dropped right after the pricing slide.
Short version: we agreed on option two.
Can you catch me up if it happens again?
Let me try calling you back.
Let’s move to the phone.
Let’s keep going, I’ll catch you up on the notes after.

Sorry about that, my wifi dropped. What did I miss?

Let's keep going, I'll catch you up on the notes after.

You dropped right after the pricing slide. Short version: we agreed on option two.

Let me try calling you back. 或 Let's move to the phone.

Dana(会议主持,产品负责人) 你(工程师,10:30 有下一个会) Priya(工程师) Marcus(资深工程师)

Dana: Okay, we’re a little over. I’m watching the clock, so let me speed up.

Quick heads-up, I’ve got a hard stop at 10:30.

Dana: Thanks for the heads-up. Where are we on the deck — two slides left?

Priya: Two. And the second one’s the part everyone actually cares about.

Dana: Of course it is. Okay, let me skip the last section — it’s in the doc.

Works for me. I read the doc last night anyway.

Dana: Then let’s take the rest offline. I’ll set up a follow-up for Thursday.

Priya: Thursday works. Morning’s better for me.

Dana: Noted. Okay, let me recap the action items.

Marcus: Go ahead.

Dana: Marcus, you’re updating the capacity spreadsheet by Wednesday. Priya, you’re sending the pricing numbers to finance.

Priya: Yep, that’s mine.

Marcus: Got it. Wednesday.

Dana: Anything I’m missing?

One thing — who’s taking the rollout checklist?

Dana: Oh, good catch. That’s still open.

Priya: I can take it if nobody else wants it.

Dana: Perfect. Anything else, or can we call it?

That’s everything from me. We’re at time. Let me stop there.

Marcus: Hey, we’re at time. Want to pick this up Thursday? I’ve got one thing I never got to.

Dana: Yeah, I’ll put it on the invite. I’m putting the last two slides in the doc too, so take a look before then.

Priya: Will do.

Dana: Thanks, all. I’ll drop the notes in the channel after.

Thanks, everyone. Talk soon.

1. hard stop

I've got a hard stop at 10:30,到点就走,没人会不高兴;反过来,一声不吭拖到别人下一个会开始,才是真的减分。

Let me skip the last section — it's in the doc.

Let me recap the action items. Marcus, you're updating the capacity spreadsheet by Wednesday.

Hey, we're at time. Want to pick this up Thursday?

1. Can you hear me okay?

Can you HEAR me oKAY?——重音落在最后那个词上,听起来像随口一问;平平地念完,会像在质问对方设备。

2. Sorry

Sorry, can I jump in here?

4. We're at time 用降调,不带歉意。

That's a +1 from me. I'm with Priya on that. 别说 I also agree,太书面。
