或者 Good game, man.。
(That one's on me.)。 What were we doing on that last possession? 比 You left your man open
输了之后说 They just outplayed us. We'll see next week.
Tyler(队长) Zach(爱嘴人的队友) You(队里的新人) Derek(对手队的队长)
Tyler: Alright, line up. Good game, good game.
Derek: Good game, man. That was a battle.
You: Good game. You guys shot the lights out in the fourth.
Derek: Ha, finally. We’ve been cold all season.
Zach: Yeah, well. Good game.
Derek: You too, Zach.
(Derek
Zach: Did you see that foul call? That was garbage. He walked twice.
Tyler: Drop it, man. We had chances.
Zach: I’m just saying. That ref cost us the game.
Tyler: And we missed eleven free throws. Let’s go shake hands and get out of here.
You: Yeah. That’s fair.
Zach: Whatever.
Tyler: Hey — you played well tonight, by the way. That block in the third was clean.
You: Thanks. I still fouled out, though.
Tyler: Fourth one was soft. Don’t sweat it.

You played good. | 该用 well(修饰动词) | You played well. |
We lost because of referee. | 怪裁判,显得不成熟 | We had our chances. |
I'm so angry, I want to hit somebody. | 表达过激 | I'm frustrated. That one stings. |
Good game. |
Next time we will kill you. | 像威胁 | We'll get you next time. |
1. Good game
Drop it 或 Let it go 是标准叫停语。
No worries、You're good、It happens。
Tyler(队长) Zach(投丢最后一球的队友) You
You: Hey. You good?
Zach: I cost us the game. That was a wide-open three.
You: You also hit four of them in the third. We’re not in it without you.
Zach: Doesn’t matter. Last shot’s the one people remember.
Tyler: I remember calling the play for you. So if we’re blaming somebody, it’s me.
Zach: Come on, T. That’s not the same thing.
Tyler: Why not? I had two timeouts left and I burned one with forty seconds. That’s on me too.
You: He’s got a point.
Zach: …Fine. Whatever. I still feel like crap.
Tyler: You should. Losing sucks. Give it till tomorrow.
Zach: Yeah.
Tyler: Hey, you want to grab food? My treat.
Zach: I’m not hungry.
Tyler: Then come sit there and watch me eat. I’m not letting you drive home like this.
Zach: …Alright. One burger.
You: I’m in. And Zach — that shot was the right shot. It just didn’t go.

| Last shot’s the one people remember. | | |
| If we’re blaming somebody, it’s me.
| Give it till tomorrow. |

|---|---|---|
Don't be sad. Give it till tomorrow. |
It's not your fault (直接安慰) | 太轻,对方会更闷 | I cost us the game too. Here's how. |
You should practice more.
Don't think about it. | 说了反而更想 | Come get food with us. |
直译成 Add oil! | 英文里不存在 | You'll get it next time. |
That's on me too
哪怕你真是好意,当晚说 You should have pump-faked 会被记很久。
Zach(队友,脾气急) You Marcus(对手队里最爱嘴的那个)
Marcus: Come on, that’s all you got? Y’all play like it’s a church league.
Zach: Say that again.
Marcus: I said —
You: Zach. Let it go. He’s down ten and still talking.
Zach: He’s been running his mouth all game.
You: I know. Let it fuel you.
Marcus: What, you need your boyfriend to fight for you?
You: Nah. I need the ball.
You: That’s one.
Marcus: Lucky.
You: Sure. Keep talking.
Marcus: Good game.
Zach: Yeah. Good game.
(Marcus
Zach: I wanted to punch him.
You: Everybody did. That’s what he wants.
Zach: Yeah. You handled it better than I would’ve.
You: I’ve lost a couple of those before. Learned the hard way.
Zach: What’d you learn?
You: That the scoreboard talks louder than he does.
Zach: Ha. That’s good. I’m stealing that.

| He’s been running his mouth.
| Let it go.
| Let it fuel you. | |
| That’s all you got? |
| Keep talking. |
| That’s one. |
| The scoreboard talks louder. | | |
| I’m stealing that.
|---|---|---|
Shut up! |
You are a bad person. |
Fuck you.
I will kill you.
Nah. I need the ball. |
1. trash talk
Keep talking
3. run your mouth / running his mouth
Tyler(队长) You Derek(对手队队长) Zach
Tyler: Good game, Derek. That was a war.
Derek: You guys earned it. Your defense in the fourth was unreal.
Tyler: Thanks. We’ve been working on it.
Zach: Yeah! Three in a row, baby!
Tyler: Zach.
Zach: What? I’m just happy.
Derek: Ha, it’s fine. You guys are rolling.
(Derek
Tyler: Hey. When you’re up, you don’t pour it on. That’s the rule.
Zach: I wasn’t pouring anything on. I said three in a row.
You: It’s the timing. He just lost. Give him a minute.
Zach: …Alright. I hear you.
Tyler: And when we play them again, that’s the game they’re going to circle.
Zach: Let ’em.
Tyler: That’s more like it.
You: I’ll take that rematch either way.
Tyler: Same here. Grab your stuff — I’m starving.

| You guys earned it.
| You don’t pour it on. | pour it on = 乘胜追击/得寸进尺 |
| It’s the timing. |
| That’s the game they’re going to circle.
| Let ’em. |
| That’s more like it.
|---|---|---|
We are the champion! |
You guys are too weak. | 直接羞辱对手 | Your point guard is tough. |
Good game. |
We beat you!
It was easy. | 贬低对手,也贬低自己 | That was a battle. |
1. pour it on 的用法。
Your point guard is tough 比 You guys played well 更有诚意,因为具体。
3. circle that game
I'm circling that date.
Tyler(队长) You Zach
Tyler: Alright. Ten minutes, then we go home. What went wrong?
Zach: The refs.
Tyler: Not the refs. Us.
You: I’ll start. I turned the ball over three times in the second half. Two of them were just careless.
Tyler: Thanks. That’s the kind of thing I want to hear. Zach?
Zach: I forced shots. I was trying to get us back in one possession.
Tyler: You were. And I kept feeding you instead of calling a different play. So that’s on me.
You: What was open? I felt like nothing was.
Tyler: The corner. We had the corner open all night and never hit it.
Zach: Because I was in the corner and nobody looked.
Tyler: Fair. So next week, first ten minutes of practice, we drill corner threes.
You: Works for me.
Zach: Yeah. Fine.
可以。
Tyler: One more thing. Nobody talks to the ref next week. Not one word. I already got us a warning.
Zach: That was me. Sorry.
Tyler: It’s done. Let’s get out of here.
You: Hey — Zach. We’re good.
Zach: Yeah. We’re good.
没事。

| Not the refs. Us.
| I’ll start.
| I turned the ball over.
| That’s on me. | |
| That’s the kind of thing I want to hear. |
| What was open? |
| Works for me. | |
| We’re good.
|---|---|---|
You played badly today. | 点名批评,气氛立刻僵 | What were we doing on that possession? |
Everybody has a problem. |
You should pass more. | 命令队友 | I had the corner open — should I have called for it? |
It's all because of you. | 破裂关系 | That's on me too. |
What was open? 和 What were we doing there? You were in the wrong spot
3. We're good 是关系修复的收尾语。
