加入业余联赛：报名注册、定队服与赛季日程

这一篇按从想报名到赛季第一场打完去吃饭的顺序，拆成五个细化场景：问朋友怎么报名、第一次跟队集合领队服、群里排日程找替补、比赛里跟新队友磨合、赛后一起去吃饭。主角是第一次打联赛的你，带路的是打了两年的 Marcus，队长是 Tyler，教练是带队的 Coach。

美国成人业余联赛（rec league）跟国内最大的差别是：它是"自己报自己"的，没有单位、没有工会、没有微信群接龙。 rec 是 recreational 的缩写，指"打着玩的"。这类联赛通常由市里的 parks and rec（公园与文体局）或者私人机构办，你在官网上报名、线上把 dues（份子钱）付掉，然后被编进一支队。报名方式只有两种：整队报名（有十来个人一起交 team fee），或者以 free agent 身份单人报名——就是"我没有队，请把我分到一支需要人的队里"。free agent 会被联盟分到缺人的队，或者干脆把一堆 free agent 凑成一支新队。

水平是分档的，这一点跟国内"来了就一起打"很不一样。 报名页面通常让你选 beginner / intermediate / competitive 三档，选低了打得没意思，选高了整季被按着打，所以第一次报名的人一般从 intermediate 起步。赛季（season）是有明确起止日期的，常规赛打完之后有 playoffs（季后赛），赛季中间还有 makeup game（因雨或场地原因改期的补赛）。这些日期全部挂在群里的一张 schedule 上，来不了就得自己找 sub（替补）——这是新人最容易踩的坑：在美国业余联赛里，“我来不了"不等于"我不去”，你得先把替补找好。

赛后有一起吃饭喝酒的环节，而且是这个联赛真正的社交核心。 很多联赛本身就会指定一家 sponsor bar（合作酒吧），打完球两队一起去，账单平摊。跟国内不同的是：队服（jersey）要自己买，背后印号码，名字印不印看联盟；比赛有 ref（裁判），但业余裁判水平一般，有争议不兴围着裁判吵，是 captain（队长）过去说两句。赛前跟队友不认识很正常，第一场之前队长会把所有人拉进群，自我介绍基本都在群里完成。

想报联赛，先问朋友怎么报名、能不能当 free agent

rec 读 /rɛk/，就是"娱乐、打着玩"的意思。所有"不是职业、不是校队"的成人联赛都可以叫 rec league，包括篮球、足球、垒球、冰球。跟它相对的是 competitive league（竞技级），报名页面上两档并存，你自己选。

2. free agent 在美国业余联赛里是"没队的人"，不是明星。

NBA 的 free agent 是大牌球员挑球队，业余联赛的 free agent 是"我一个人，请把我塞进一支缺人的队"。整队报名的人用不上这个词，单人报名的页面选项上就写着 Individual / Free Agent。被分到队之后，你就从 free agent 变成那支队的 roster（名单）上的一员了。

3. dues 和 team fee 不是一回事，问清楚再交钱。

team fee（也叫 league fee）是联盟收的整队报名费，通常包含场地、裁判和联盟运营；dues 是队里每个人分摊到的钱。有的队按人头平摊（split ten ways），有的队把队服也算进去。报名前问一句 What do the dues cover?（份子钱都包括什么？）完全正常，没人会觉得你小气。

4. Don't be a hero. 是朋友之间最常用的劝告。

字面是"别当英雄"，实际意思是"别逞能、别硬撑"。它的使用场景极广：选水平档选高了、受伤了还想上场、加班到半夜还要去打球——都可以用这句。语气是善意的调侃，不是批评。

5. 约事情在美国要落到"链接、时间、钱"三个点上。

I'll send you the link. 是美国人约事的标准收尾。对方说 I'm gonna sign up tonight.，你说 Do it. 就是最自然的肯定。只说 We should totally do this sometime 基本等于这事不会发生。

2. roster 就是"球队名单"，是个非常美国的词。

报名截止之后，联盟会锁定每支队的 roster，名单上的人才能上场。所以加入一支新队，你最该问的一句就是 Am I on the roster?（我在名单上吗？）。roster 一旦锁了，临时换人就要走流程，这也是为什么要提前找 sub 而不是当场拉人。

3. 位置用数字说，是美式篮球的日常说法。

the one 是控卫，the two 是得分后卫，the three 是小前锋，the four 是大前锋，the five 是中锋。所以 I play the two 就是"我打二号位"。足球、冰球、垒球各有各的说法，只有在篮球里位置直接等于数字。

4. put in a word 是"替人说句话"，用得非常广。

找工作、租房、进球队都能用。它比 I recommended you 轻得多，因为 a word 只是一句话，不保证结果。别人为你说了话，回一句 Appreciate it. 就够了，不要反复道谢。

下雨、场地被占、裁判不够，都会导致比赛改期。改到的新日期就叫 makeup game，它会直接出现在那张 schedule 上，不会另外通知你。看到 schedule 上有两周的间隔变短，多半就是塞了补赛。

2. 找 sub 是美国业余联赛最硬的规矩，也是新人最容易犯的错。

sub 是 substitute 的缩写，既能指人也能指动作（I'm subbing for Marcus）。在这个体系里，“我来不了"后面必须跟"我找好了谁替我来”。 有的联赛规定替补必须也在联盟注册过（在 free agent 名单上），临时从场边拉一个没注册的人上场，被发现了可能判负。所以队长的标准回复永远是那句 Post it in here when you lock it in.

3. I'm out 是"我来不了"，不是"我走了"。

群里说 I'm out for week three 就是"第三周我不参加"。跟它对应的是 I'm in（我参加）。这两个词在群里回复日程时极常用，短到不能再短，比 I cannot attend that game 自然一百倍。

4. standings 是"排名表"，playoffs 是"季后赛"。

常规赛叫 regular season，打完之后前几名进 playoffs，最后一场叫 the championship（决赛）或者 the final。业余联赛里这两种赛制跟职业联赛同名，只是水平不同。We were fifth last season. 这种话在群里一定会被翻出来，属于球队内部的固定梗。

5. Tell me about it. 不是让你讲，是"我太懂了"。

它的意思接近"可不是嘛"，表示强烈的同感，绝对不是在提问。别人抱怨八点太晚，你回 Tell me about it. 就是站在他那边。用错成 Please tell me about it 就完全变味了。

说 Sorry 反而显得重——那更像是生活中道歉的词。球场上失误就是 My bad.，对方回 You're good. 或者 You're fine.，事情当场结束。最忌讳的是失误之后一直解释自己为什么没接住，那会拖慢回防，队友只会更烦。

2. 跟裁判沟通是 captain 的活，这是美国业余联赛不成文的规矩。

业余比赛的 ref 水平参差，吹罚经常让人上火。但场上围着裁判理论的只有一个人——队长。别人上去说，轻则被口头警告，重则吃一个技术犯规。所以听到队长说 Captain talks to the ref, not you.，最好的回应就是 All right. My fault.，别再回嘴。

3. D 是 defense 的缩写，球场上到处都在用。

Get back on D 是回防，play D 是防守，good D 是防得好。这个缩写在任何水平的美国球场上都通行，说出来非常自然。同样常见的缩写还有 O（offense，进攻）和 T（technical foul，技术犯规）。

4. 换人在业余联赛就是一句话，不需要手势或者换人牌。

教练说 Marcus, you're out for two minutes, Ray's in. 就等于完成换人。you're out 是你下场，you're in 是你上场，sub out 是自己要求下场。注意 out 在这两个语境里意思完全不同：群里说 I'm out 是这场不来，场上说 You're out 是让你下来歇两分钟。

5. 鼓励队友的方式是"接着投"，不是"别紧张"。

2. split the bill 是 AA，但跟国内的 AA 不完全一样。

美国队里最常见的做法是整张账单除以人头，叫 split it evenly，不喝酒的人也照样摊酒钱，理由是"一个赛季下来差不多"（It evens out over a season.）。也有人按自己点了什么算，那叫 separate checks（分开打单）。开口问一句 How do we do the bill? 完全正常，先问的人不丢脸；但一直算到分角，就会被当成 that guy。

3. two and oh 是战绩的固定读法。

赢两场输零场读作 two and oh，写作 2-0，oh 就是零。同理 3 胜 2 负是 three and two。这个说法在职业和业余体育里通用，比 We have won two games 自然得多。

4. single elimination 是"单场淘汰"，业余联赛季后赛的标配。

因为场地和裁判都要按场次付钱，业余联赛几乎没有七场四胜制。常见的是 single elimination，少数联赛用 double elimination（输两场才淘汰）。听到 Lose once, season's over. 就是这个意思，那种紧张感是真的。

5. 下赛季留人靠"先交钱"，这一点很美国。

队长提前把 team fee 交掉，再在群里说 I already paid，队友就不好意思放鸽子。这种"先把钱垫上"的做法在球队、拼车、租房里都常见，等于用行动表达"我认真"。 被问到 You back next season?，直接回 I'm in. 就是最干脆的答应。

2. free agent 的重音在 free 上，agent 的 g 要浊化。

读 FREE agent，agent 读 /ˈeɪdʒənt/，中间是 /dʒ/ 不是 /g/。整条短语连起来说，中间几乎不停顿。中国学生常犯的错是把重音放到 agent 上，听起来像在强调"代理人"，意思就跑偏了。

3. My bad. 两个词都要轻、要快，句尾降调。

它不是道歉声明，是场上的一句口头禅。读得又慢又重会显得很沉重，队友反而要安慰你。快速带过、句尾下沉，才是"这事过去了"的语气。 同理 You're good. 读成 /jər ˈgʊd/，you’re 弱读成一个音节。

4. 数字型位置词要读得短而清。

the two、the three、the four 里的 the 在元音前读 /ði/，整条短语重音在数字上。这些词在场上就是口令，声音要往前送。 同类还有战绩读法 two and oh——and 弱读成 /ən/，oh 是字母 O 的读音 /oʊ/，不能读成"零"。
