这一篇按从市内到机场、再到出问题的顺序，拆成五个细化场景：地铁站买票换乘、叫车去机场、值机托运过安检、公交坐过站、火车晚点怎么办。

美国公共交通和中国最大的差别不是语言，是"没有统一规则"。 中国一张卡走遍全国，美国一个城市一套：纽约刷 OMNY（银行卡或手机直接贴闸机），华盛顿是 SmarTrip，波士顿是 CharlieCard，芝加哥是 Ventra，旧金山湾区是 Clipper，洛杉矶是 TAP。闸机怎么过、公交怎么投币、换乘优惠有多久，全都不一样。所以到了新城市第一件事不是研究路线，是问一句 How do I pay?

公交是中国人最容易踩坑的一块。 很多城市的公交只收 exact change（正好的零钱），投币箱不找零；下车要自己拉绳子或按铃（pull the cord）通知司机，不拉司机就真的会直接开过去。这两条不知道，第一次坐公交基本都要多走一公里。

机场流程最固定，也最不能省时间。 值机（check in）→ 托运行李（check a bag）→ 安检（security）→ 登机口（gate）。国内航班提前 2 小时到，国际 3 小时。美国国内航班基本没有免费托运行李，第一件通常 30–40 美元（各航司、各票种不同）。安检记 3-1-1：每瓶液体不超过 3.4 盎司（100 毫升），全部装进一个一夸脱的透明密封袋，一人一袋；鞋子现在通常不用脱了——2025 年 7 月起 TSA 取消了强制脱鞋，只有安检门报警或者工作人员要求时才脱；笔记本电脑在没装新式扫描仪的通道仍要单独拿出来，听现场指挥。

打车这块，Uber 和 Lyft 是绝对主流，传统出租车只在纽约、芝加哥、旧金山这些大城市常见。网约车的关键动作是上车前核对三样东西：车牌号、车型颜色、司机名字——这是安全问题，不是客气。地址不用报，app 里已经填好了；但航站楼一定要自己确认，同一个机场不同航站楼差着十几分钟。

美国司机一般也期待你先开口确认，双方都放心。地址不用报，app 里已经填好了；但航站楼要自己说清，同一个机场不同航站楼差十几分钟。传统出租车才说 Can you take me to this address?

2. pop the trunk 是"开后备箱"的固定说法。

trunk 是美式说法，英国说 boot。司机常问 You need the trunk?，你回答 Yes, if you could pop it. 就行。下车时可以说 Can you leave the trunk open?——司机帮你搬行李是常事，但不是义务，给两三美元小费很常见。

3. 小费怎么给。

• Uber / Lyft：行程结束后在 app 里给，默认选项一般 15%–20%。忘了给不会有人追你，但司机会看到。
• 传统出租车：刷卡机上选比例，现金就说 Keep the change.
• 机场接送、帮你搬了行李：多给两三美元很合适。

4. you're golden 和 you're good 是一个意思。

都是"你没问题了"。安检、值机、打车都能听到。You're all set. 也一样，是美国人结束一段服务的万能收尾句。

1. 美国公交下车要自己"叫停"。

大多数城市的公交不会每站都停。快到站时要拉窗边的绳子（pull the cord）或者按停车按钮（press the stop button），车厢前面会响一声铃，司机才停。不拉，司机就开过去了——这不是司机故意，是规则。

有些城市是报站自动播（Next stop: Main Street），但也有很多车不报站。稳一点的做法是自己盯着窗外，或者上车时就跟司机说一句 Could you let me know when we get to Elm Street?

2. 公交投币：exact change 是真的不找零。

Exact change only 意思是只收正好的钱，投币箱不找零。所以身上备几个 25 分硬币（quarter）和一块钱纸币很实用。

• 现在越来越多城市支持贴卡或刷手机（纽约 OMNY、旧金山 Clipper、洛杉矶 TAP 都能刷公交）。
• 有些城市有公交 app，可以提前买票，上车给司机看二维码。
• 不确定就问司机：Do you take cards, or do I need exact change?

3. 换乘（transfer）有免费额度，但有时间限制。

很多城市在限定时间内换乘不再收费，一般是 1–2 小时，规则按城市和支付方式不同。别自己猜，进站或上车前问一句 Is the transfer free? 最稳。超时了就得重新买票，就像对话里这样。

4. 问司机问题要看时机。

美国人不喜欢你在车开着的时候跟司机聊天——既危险又会被其他乘客侧目。要问就等车停稳、开门的时候，一句 Sorry, can I ask you something? 开头。这也是对话里你为什么先说"不想在你开车的时候打扰你"。

5. Ugh、Oof、Ha 这些声音词不是废话。

Ugh（懊恼）、Oof（吃力或心疼）、Ha（干笑）在美式口语里非常常见，一个音就替代一整句。加上它们，你的英语会立刻不那么"课本"。

火车晚点四十分钟，问站务员怎么办

美国大火车站（Amtrak、通勤铁路）不会提前很久公布站台，一般开车前 10–20 分钟屏幕上才跳出 Track 6。所以本地人的习惯是在大厅等，盯着屏幕，而不是提前去站台站着。地铁不一样，地铁看的是方向（uptown / downtown / 终点站名）。

2. 晚点可以改签，也可以退票。

火车、飞机晚点或取消，责任不在你，所以可以免费改到下一班，或者退票。最省事的做法是回售票窗口说一句 The 4:15 got delayed — can you put me on the next one?。如果已经在 app 上买的，一般也能在 app 里自己改。票别丢，改签和退票都要用。

3. quiet car 是真的会被管的。

Amtrak 和部分通勤铁路有静音车厢（通常是某一节，广播会说明）。规则是：不打电话、不外放、耳机别漏音。违反了会有乘客直接 Shh! 或者叫乘务员。要打电话就走到车厢连接处（vestibule）去。

4. 语音提示听不懂，就问窗口。

车站广播（Now boarding on track six）语速快、还有回音，是公认最难听懂的英语之一。不用硬听——去售票窗口或服务台问一句 Which track is the 4:15? 就行，工作人员每天都在回答这个问题。

5. heads up 是"提醒你一句"。

Oh, heads up — 用来在对话里插一句重要提醒，比 I want to tell you 自然得多。同事、朋友、陌生人都能用，语气很轻松。
